Each class at Epiphany learns about the holiday traditions of a different country to celebrate Christmas Around the World. We are studied how Christmas is celebrated in Sweden. On Wednesday, we celebrated Santa Lucia Day! Check out some pictures from our day below. Earlier in the week, we learned about the Swedish flag. On Wednesday, we made Santa Lucia (for the girls) hats and Star Boy (for the boys) hats. We made a paper garland using the colors of the Swedish flag. And, we practiced saying Merry Christmas in Swedish: "God Jule!"
