One of the best things about fall? There are so many leaves to play with! The weather has been unusually mild this week and we were able to take advantage of that. Check out the pictures of preschool and kindergarten playing in the leaves on Tuesday. We had so much fun!
We didn't have time to decorate our pinata since we needed to break it open before Thanksgiving. However, it was still fun to break it open! It was a tough pinata. It took many swings from our preschoolers to finally break it open.
Has your preschooler been talking about our Thanksgiving program? We have been working on songs and poems for the program for several weeks and are so excited to share them with you! On Wednesday, we practiced on the stage for the first time. It's going to be a great program! We hope to see you on Tuesday!
This year, election day did not alter much in the Chicago area. However, we still did our yearly election that we do each year in our preschool classroom. We voted for a name for our turkey! The numbers were pretty close! You can see Turkey Face the turkey on display in the hallway outside of our classroom.
