Preschoolers made binoculars today out of paper towel tubes that were cut in half. Students decorated the tubes using crayons and stickers. Then, we started looking for leprechauns. We looked in our classroom and outside. So far, we haven't found any.
We have spent a lot of time exploring shadows in and out of the classroom. Now, we have a shadow museum in our science center. Students can make a shadow, trace it, and then it will be added to the museum. The preschoolers love making shadows!
Today, we learned about Dr. Seuss. After we read, The Cat in the Hat, we made hats just like the cat wore in the book.
