Over the last few weeks, we have been making observations on our beans that we were growing. This week, we were able to transplant the beans into larger bowls. We are also growing grass in cups. The preschoolers love making observations about any changes that they see.

The Preschoolers had a lot of fun decorating Easter eggs with Ms. Rosie. Each child was able to decorate two eggs. I am so glad that the weather cooperated for our field trip to Lincoln Park Zoo. It was a beautiful day! The students all had a lot of fun. Some of the highlights of the trip were feeding the cows and seeing the newly hatched chicks. We have a new center to use during center time as we prepare for Easter. The Easter board has felt pieces that depict the Stations of the Cross. The students enjoy arranging and rearranging the pieces to tell the story that leads us to the wonderful day of Easter Sunday. The students had a lot of fun playing outside earlier this week. There was still a bit of a chill in the air but the sun was out and the snow had almost entirely melted. |
