During small group last week, students used toys and materials in our table toys center to make patterns. Recognizing and extending patterns are both important preschool skills that can be easily practiced while at home. You can involve your child in sorting laundry. Make patterns using socks! Ask your child to help get the table set for dinner. You can make patterns using silverware! You can go on a pattern scavenger hunt by trying to find patterns on shirts or rugs. Patterns are everywhere!
