We have tried many different activities recently to explore wind in our classroom. Preschoolers played a partner game in which they tried to blow a pom-pom into their partner's hand without letting it fall to the ground. With our partners, we played a racing game in the hallway. Preschoolers tried to blow the pom-pom to their waiting partner who then used their own straw and tried to blow the pom-pom back to the finishing line. It was so much fun! Back in the classroom, students worked together to find objects in the classroom that they could move by blowing into a straw. The preschoolers had a lot of fun testing different items in the classroom.
