We have spent a lot of time exploring colors and how they can mix and blend to form new colors. Today, both preschool classrooms joined together for a fun color mixing activity. All students were given a spoonful of frosting and then chose two primary colors. Some knew in advance that they wanted to make a particular secondary color so they chose the primary colors that would give them that desired outcome. After mixing the colors into their frosting, they spread the frosting onto a graham cracker for a fun Friday treat.
