Last week, in Religion, we learned about when Jesus fed a large crowd of people with only two fish and five loaves of bread. The students were really interested in the story, and were amazed that the whole crowd left feeling full and that there were still 12 baskets of leftover food. On Friday, the students brought in small bags of snacks that we combined into one large snack. Every one ate as much as they wanted and had leftovers to go home. Although what we did was not a miracle, it did allow us time to reflect on how important it is to thank God for what we have, no matter how big or small it is.
