This week, each preschooler was given a piece of yarn that had been cut to match their height. They then used this yarn to find out how their height compared to other items in the classroom. They found out how many of an item that they would need in order for it to be the same as their own height. They used any material in the classroom that they wanted to make their comparisons. The preschoolers had a lot of fun making comparisons and measurements.
