If you walk into our classroom, one of the first things that you will notice are the bags hanging in one of the windows. Each bag has a bean and a damp paper towel. We have been using magnifying glasses to observe our beans on a weekly basis. The preschoolers are becoming amazing scientists. They are making great observations and drawing what they see in their "Bean Journal." Hopefully, some of the beans will start to sprout and we will be able to transfer them to soil.
