We have a new fun material to explore with in our classroom: water beads! Have you seen water beads? They are usually used in vases and floral centerpieces. However, they are also fun to touch. They start as little tiny balls and then, after soaking in water, they expand until they are about the size of a marble. The texture is squishy and a little slimy. Preschoolers love them! Not only are they a very fun and interesting texture, but they are also also fun to look at.
