This morning, our preschoolers went on a scavenger hunt the classroom. With a partner, they looked for an assigned color. This is an easy activity to do at home, as well. Simply ask your preschooler to find something in the house that is a certain color. You could also add some extra things to look for. For example, you might ask your preschooler to find something that's red and small. Or, you might ask your preschooler to find something that's purple and shaped like a circle.
