Both preschool classes had been working on their own pinatas. On Thursday, we go to see each class's pinata and take turns trying to break them open.
If you've been following this blog, you know that we've been working on a pinata for two weeks. Last week, during small group time, students each got the chance to add some new layers to the pinata. Earlier this week, students got the chance to decorate the pinata by adding squares of tissue paper. On Thursday, all of our hard work paid off when we finally broke it open! Both preschool classes had been working on their own pinatas. On Thursday, we go to see each class's pinata and take turns trying to break them open.
