On Tuesday, we explored some items that are on loan from the Field Museum. We explored some animal homes and learned about different animals that might be found in a pond habitat. The preschoolers loved being able to hold and touch the animal homes. When we talked about the habitat, the students were able to see a real specimen of a dragonfly and a bluegill and were able to touch a real turtle shell and a real piece of beaver pelt.
