Today, we had a visit from Father Dan. Both preschool classes combined to watch a short video about Our Lady of Guadalupe and then Father Dan taught us about the many different symbols in the image. Thank you, Father Dan! We learned so much!
We have been working on our songs for the Preschool and Kindergarten Thanksgiving program! Our preschoolers are very excited to perform for you!
Today, to celebrate Election Day, we voted on a name for a turkey. The winning name? Twinkle Twinkle Little Star the Turkey!
Our turkey bulletin board looks great but is still missing some feathers. Please bring those in as soon as you can so we can add some more feathers to the turkey!
Be on the lookout for many more Thanksgiving activities as we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving!
Yesterday, we celebrated Day of the Dead. Have you stopped in to see the school's altar? It's beautiful! Please feel free to stop in when dropping off your students in the morning or after school.
We enjoyed some delicious bread! It was delicious and so sweet!
We ended our day by watching Coco! We had such a great day!
Happy Halloween! We had such a fun and busy day!
We started our morning by decorating the bags that would hold all of our treats later in the afternoon.
Of course we had to do a class photo! Look at all of these great costumes and smiling faces!
After lunch, our party began. We started our party with a costume parade throughout the school. You can see a video of our parade on Epiphany's Facebook page. Following the parade, we enjoyed some yummy treats while watching It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.
How should we finish up our Halloween fun-filled afternoon? How about a dance party?
Please remember, our Halloween party is tomorrow,, Wednesday, October 31st.
Some things to keep in mind:
Thank you for your assistance! Happy Halloween!
This morning, we decorated water bottles. We then explored making different sounds with items inside the water bottles. We tried making loud sounds with our shakers and we tried making quiet sounds with our shakers. Thank you to all families that brought in water bottles for our shakers!
On Tuesday, we had so much fun going on a leaf hunt with Ms. Kaitlyn's class! We found many different colors and shapes of leaves!
