Today, we had a special visitor! The Easter bunny stopped by for a quick visit! We had such a fun morning!
This morning, preschoolers used mirrors to study their reflections. They then used the mirrors to help them as they drew their own self portraits. Those portraits are now on display in the hallway.
We celebrated St. Patrick's Day today in our classroom. We had several activities that the preschoolers rotated through. Preschoolers read St. Patrick's Day books, did coloring pages, graphed Lucky Charms marshmallows and made leprechaun traps. We had so much fun this morning!
Today is Read Across America Day! Preschoolers brought in their favorite books. We love books of all kinds in preschool!
Read Across America is celebrated on Dr. Seuss's birthday. So, of course, we did some Dr. Seuss related activities. Along with Ms. Kaitlyn's class, we made hats like Thing 1 and Thing 2, we did coloring pages that were of scenes in Dr. Seuss books, and we made towers like the Cat in the Hat's hat.
